身在异国非异客 国际医疗服务暖人心
近日，原教科文非洲事务组织助理总干事Firmin Edouard Matoko因膝关节疼痛来我院就诊，在国际医疗部的协调安排下，骨科医学部运动医学科赵哲主任接诊，并请Shaikh Atik Badshah博士进行全程翻译、陪诊。
Mr. Matoko此次来深是应邀参加由联合国教科文组织教育信息技术研究所、联合国教科文组织高等教育创新中心、南方科技大学以及马来西亚博特拉大学共同主办的2023国际网络教育学院（IIOE）全球伙伴高峰会，峰会将于12月7-9日召开。
Mr. Matoko主诉两个月前诊断出半月板退化（Degenerative Meniscus tear），在外地经过两次治疗但效果并不理想，6日晚上久坐后突感膝关节不适，前来就诊。经过赵哲主任的仔细检查，确定了病因，并据此给出了合理的治疗方案Mr. Matoko对赵哲主任的诊断表示了认可，并对Atik博士的帮助表达了感谢，他表示他将在会议结束后考虑进一步的治疗。Atik博士主动添加了Mr. Matoko的微信，他建议Mr. Matoko如有不适，随时与他沟通。同为外籍人的Atik博士在我院经常担任外籍病友的陪诊翻译员，他表示，外籍人在异国他乡看病，最需要的是信任。合理有效的沟通可以给外籍患者带来心理上的巨大安慰，让他们安心、放心。
据统计，深圳市目前常住的外籍人士达3万，从区域分布来看，南山区常住外籍人数量居深圳市之首，约占46%。深圳市立足“国际化城市”发展定位，国际友人越来越多，随之而来的国际医疗服务需求也将越来越大。面对来自不同国家、不同民族、不同政治背景、不同社会经历、不同年龄、不同文化程度、不同疾病的外籍友人前来就诊，国际医疗部致力于为外籍人士以及有高端医疗需求的国内患者提供一对一、全流程、一站式的医疗服务。
Being in a Foreign Country Is Not a Stranger, as International Medical Service Warms the Heart
Firmin Edouard Matoko, former Assistant Director-General for Priority Africa and External Relations, UNESCO, recently came to our hospital for treatment due to knee pain. Under the coordination arrangement of the International Administration Department, Zhao Zhe, Director of the Sports Medicine Department, received him and Dr. Shaikh Atik Badshah was invited to accompany him throughout the treatment.
Mr. Matoko was invited to participate in the 2023 International Institute for Online Education (IIOE) Global Partners Summit, which will be held from December 7-9, co-sponsored by the UNESCO Institute for Information Technology in Education, the UNESCO Centre for Innovation in Higher Education, Southern University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen and Universiti Putra Malaysia.
Mr. Matoko complained that he was diagnosed with a Degenerative Meniscus tear two months ago. After two treatments in the other locality, the effect was not ideal. He came to see the doctor because he felt uncomfortable after sitting for a long time on the night of the 6th. After careful examination by Director Zhao Zhe, the cause was determined, and a reasonable treatment plan was given accordingly. Mr. Matoko agreed with Director Zhao Zhe's diagnosis. He thanked Dr. Atik for his help, saying he would consider further treatment after the meeting.Dr. Atik took the initiative to add Mr. Matoko's WeChat and advised Mr. Matoko to communicate with him at any time if he felt uncomfortable. Dr. Atik, also a foreigner, often works as an interpreter for foreign patients in our hospital. He says that trust is the most important thing for foreigners when seeing a doctor in a foreign country. Reasonable and effective communication can bring great psychological comfort to foreign patients and make them feel at ease.
According to statistics, Shenzhen currently has 30,000 permanent resident foreigners. From the perspective of regional distribution, the number of resident foreigners in Nanshan District ranks first in Shenzhen, accounting for about 46%. Based on the "International City" development orientation, Shenzhen has more and more international friends, and the ensuing demand for international medical services will also increase. Facing foreign friends from different countries, nationalities, political backgrounds, social experiences, ages, levels of education, and diseases, the International Administration Department is committed to providing one-to-one, full-process, one-stop medical services for foreigners and domestic patients with high-end medical needs.
