Professor Xing attached great importance to this health camp activity, signifying that Shenzhen, as the frontier city of reform and opening up policy, should always be tolerant to diversity. We all know that Shenzhen has more than 26 thousand resident expatriates, of which the Nanshan district alone is home to for nearly 45% expats. Shenzhen has launched several policies to introduce overseas high-end talents, thus creating a talent aggregation area for our foreign friends. After the opening ceremony, Cai Junxiu, Director of Nutrition Dept gave a small lecture on nutritious and healthy diet, that also included the food dietary guidelines of few typical countries as examples. The nutritional status of the human body is the basis for the immune system to exert its resistance to external pathogens. Especially during the current COVID-19 prevention and control period, advocating a reasonable diet is of great significance for enhancing the body’s natural immunity to prevent and control diseases. Every person irrespective of their nationality must remember that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body and the simplest method to maintain a healthy body is to adhere to healthy and nutritious diet along with moderate exercise. Many visitors subsequently got their human body composition analysis test reports and with the explanation of the Director Cai, they had a general understanding of their physical conditions. Director Cai also gave dietary advice according to their personal situation.
